While finding myself happy as a clam to have found such an amazing crew to work with post college, I couldn't have been more stoked to hear that one of my first projects to dive into was entitled "cookie practicals"...pretty much meaning cookie shoots involving cookies.
For a girl, like me, who spent a good majority of her time in high school and college photographing and styling plates of desserts and bakery sweets, I could not have been more enthused to not only help out on such sweet shoots, but also to realize that I'm not the only one who can (and likes to) obsess over how chocolate chips are placed in a cookie.
Having a passion for styling foods of all sorts, I was super stoked to hear the Boss Man ask me to make these cookies look perfect for the shoots. Furthermore, I was asked to throw cookie ingredients at models, drop cookies into a bucket while standing on a table, and find a way to pre-break a cookie without looking like its been broken. Indeed, and strangely enough, this kind of activity is no doubt right up my alley. CG
